FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1. I have locked myself out of the system. How do I get locked out?
Answer:
Contact your school's PowerSchool office personnel to have your password reset. You will be required to change this temporary password after logging in.
Q2. I have a student trying to login, and when they click on the Schoolnet link after logging into Home Base, they get a white screen, or it is just spinning at the top.
What do I do?
Answer:
Give it a minute or two, and then close the tab and have them try to click on the Schoolnet link again. Repeat this two more times if it continues not to work. If that does not help, restart the computer.
Q3. This same student continues to have problems logging in. What else can I try?
Answer:
Completely close browser and open a new browser and try again. Sometimes switching to FireFox from Chrome or visa versa helps. You may need to even go an additional step by clearing history in the browser.
If students log-in through PowerSchool and click the link to SchoolNet and get a message that says “Our Apologies…” or attempted solution above with no success.Solution: Close out, open a new web window, and type in the following web address: http://homebase.schoolnet.com. This opens a “back door” way to access SchoolNet. You will need to choose “Weldon City” as the district, and then log in as the student.
