Meet Janice Ricks, our Director of Digital Teaching and Learning.
My role is to support the effective use of technology across Weldon City Schools, while keeping teaching, learning, and student success at the center of our work. Whether you need help solving a technology issue, selecting a digital resource, redesigning a lesson, or building your confidence with technology. We are here to support.
As a Technology Technician, I’m here to help keep technology running smoothly and make sure students and staff have the support they need. My work involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining and repairing devices, assisting users, and finding solutions when technology doesn’t work as expected. A big part of my role is making sure technology is reliable, secure, and ready to support teaching and learning.
Meet Sherna Julal, our Instructional Technology Facilitator!
In this role, I work with teachers to integrate technology into daily instruction, helping create engaging and innovative learning experiences for students. I work with the Director of Digital Teaching and Learning to provide instructional coaching, lead professional development, support the implementation of digital tools and resources, and promote responsible digital citizenship. By collaborating with staff and staying current with emerging technologies, I help ensure that technology enhances teaching, learning, and student success throughout our schools.
