Library Media Services
North Carolina House Bill 805 allows parents to request limits on the books their child can access in school libraries and classroom collections. Parents who wish to restrict their child from checking out specific titles may do so by sending a request to your child's school opt-out email address provided below detailing your child's name and the book title(s). After the request is submitted, the school principal and library media coordinator will be notified, and the child’s teacher will ensure the restriction is implemented in the classroom.
