Seeking Applications for Halifax Community College Board of Trustees
Weldon City Schools is seeking applicants for consideration for appointment to the Halifax Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees to fill a position that becomes vacant on August 1, 2021, and whose term expires on June 30, 2022. The Board of Education is charged to make this appointment per NC general statute. Applicants must be residents of the Weldon City Schools administrative unit.
If you would like to be considered for this position, please submit a letter of interest including your qualifications, background, and reasons for wanting to serve on the HCC Board of Trustees by email to Dr. Michael A. Myrick, Superintendent of Weldon City Schools at email@example.com. The closing date has been extended until August 13, 2021, by the close of business. The Weldon City Board of Education anticipates voting on their appointment at its regular business meeting on August 19, 2021.
