Completing the #FAFSA before you go on summer break? Now that’s a sweet idea!

The Weldon City Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, beginning with a closed session at 2:30 p.m. and an open session at 3:00 p.m.

The meeting will take place at Halifax Community College 100 College Drive, Weldon, NC 27890 in building 400 room 411.

The items on the agenda for this meeting will be budget and finance issues and a closed session for the discussion of confidential personnel matters and to consult with the Board Attorney pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3), (a)(5), and (a)(6) and to prevent the disclosure of confidential personnel information pursuant to G.S. 115C-319, followed by an open session regarding the appointment of a new superintendent.

Las escuelas de la ciudad de Weldon ofrecerán comidas gratuitas para todos los niños en las escuelas primaria, intermedia y secundaria de Weldon del 8 al 30 de junio de 2022 (lunes a jueves) y del 11 al 21 de julio de 2022 (lunes a jueves). El desayuno se servirá entre las 8:00 a. m. y las 8:30 a. m. y el almuerzo se servirá entre las 11:30 a. m. y las 12:30 p. m.

Weldon City Schools will be offering free meals for all kids at Weldon Elementary, Weldon Middle, and Weldon High Schools from June 8 - June 30, 2022 (Monday - Thursday) and July 11 - July 21, 2022 (Monday - Thursday). Breakfast will be served between 8:00 a.m. - 8: 30 a.m. and lunch will be served between 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

ECSU is hosting an edTPA prep session for all interested residency candidates enrolled at ECSU. Please see the attached flyer for details. Residency candidates can register using the link below; registration deadline is Friday, June 10.
